Covering the basics for health and prevention

Standard testing available as screening and assessment is usually needed. Common testing ordered may include:

CBC (Complete Blood Count): gives information on the shape and hemoglobin content of red blood cells, white blood cells, immune cells and platelets.

CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Profile): provides information about liver function, kidney function and filtration rate and blood sugar.

Lipid Panel: the levels of good and bad cholesterol in your blood, as well as triglyceride levels and pertinent ratios.

Thyroid function: normally ordered to show the values of TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) as well as the thyroid hormones T3 and T4 to get the most accurate information regarding your bodies balance and feedback loop with your thyroid hormones.

Other tests may include vitamin D levels, iron levels, inflammatory markers etc.
